For the seventeenth year the picturesque town of Beechworth will host the best Celtic event in held Victoria. The weekend of November 9-11, 2012 promises to present the most diverse celebration of Celtic music and culture.
The three day festival will showcase many bands and artists from around Australia in a series of concerts and workshops. Historic Beechworth will celebrate all things Celtic, with a full program of live music, theatre, dancing, comedy, pipe bands and a street parade. The Celtic Festival is a diverse event with something to offer every age group.
We look forward to building on the success of the 2010 & 2011 events. This year the festival will present Highlander, The Go Set, The Colonials, Zeptepi, Bushwhazee, Triskel, Imogen Brough, McAlpines Fusiliers and the Eddie Lewis CD Launch . The event will continue to host a range of traditional Scottish pipes that are enjoyed by all throughout town streets also welcome back the 42nd Regiment to add to our already great parade.
