Once again the Beechworth Celtic Festival will entertain crowds of Celtic lovers in Beechworth.

This years' festival will take on a new format of entertainment and celebration in the Celtic spirit.

The 2014 festival was truly one of fun, entertainment and celebration in the Celtic spirit, and each year this event turns Beechworth into a hub of colourful sights and lively sounds.
There was an array of Celtic bands to excite music lover and a displays of pipe bands to stir the passions. Ticketed live music venues were located in historic hotels and halls, with a free stage located in the heart of town. Demonstrations of traditional instruments like the Bodhran, a Celtic frame drum, & workshops for likes of the tin whistle & fiddle offered unique learning opportunities.
Major events included a Gala Celtic Dinner, a great-fun Ceilidh on the Saturday afternoon, and a Community Concert held on Saturday evening.
The Grand Parade is always a great family event. It featured the firing of historical muskets, colourful floats, energetic dancers, national Celtic costumes and flags, & will culminate with the stirring massed pipe bands. The Celtic Market offered something for everyone with food, traditional crafts, jewellery, face painting, clan information and more.
The Celtic Festival is a diverse event with something to offer every age group, so this year in 2015 bring the whole family and create some fabulous Celtic memories together.
